I am reading Intercessory Prayer by Dutch Sheets, and it is a great book. I wanted to share a little with everyone that I thought was interesting.

Reading about David brings to mind just how important it is to continually give thanks to God for all He's done. The Psalms are all songs of thanksgiving, remembering men's shortcomings and God's amazing grace and patience in dealing with them. The act of consistantly giving thanks reduces the risk of forgetting all that God has done. I wonder how much I have missed, or forgot. I don't really know what to write. I guess I will write a story about something amazing God did. When I was on outreach we went to Colorado and stayed with a host family.
