Casting Off Restraint

Scripture: Proverbs 29:18 NIV "Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law." Observation: The word "revelation" means "light" or understanding. As if a light has come on in a dark place. It is like the Word of God becoming more than just words on a piece of paper. The Words provide life to the person reading them or writing them. They initiate direction and action. When there is no understanding of the blessings and or consequences associated… Continue

Just wanted to thank you for the Christmas card you sent me. I received it yesterday. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's Day. I attended a Christmas dinner and exchanged gifts with members of my new church in Korea on Christmas Day. On New Year's Day, a few members of the congregation (including me) met for prayer, then went out to eat afterward. The church has been a real blessing. It is a special ministry to people here from countries all over the world, most of whom are English teachers like myself. Please pray for the body to grow in number and, especially, spiritually. There are many Christians in name only and "baby Christians". God bless everyone! Love in the name of Christ, Diane

Hello, Pastor Mark! Thanks for your encouraging words. I feel really blessed to be where I am now. I never thought I would find a job I liked so much. God has answered my prayers. I tried to send some photos earlier, but kept getting an error message. Perhaps, someone at your end can give me some technical support. I visited a Christian orphanage in another city (Busan) last weekend. I will try to send photos again later after I figure out how. Sorry, I'm not real computer "savvy". Thanks so much for all your prayers. Please remember to pray for many more souls to be won to the Lord here. There are many Christians in the Seoul area, but not many elsewhere, unfortunately. Most people are either Buddhists or agnostics/atheists. God bless everyone.
